Whole-person care -
Rooted in Osteopathy

A Different Approach to Private Practice
Private practice offers tremendous professional freedom—but it can also be isolating and unnecessarily difficult to build from scratch.
Riverside Osteopathic Collective was created to provide another option.
Clinicians maintain their own professional identity and clinical decision-making while practicing alongside colleagues who share a commitment to thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Shared clinical infrastructure can reduce the burden of maintaining a completely independent office while still preserving the autonomy that makes private practice rewarding.
Practice independently. Collaborate naturally.
There is no expectation that every clinician practice the same way.
What brings us together is a shared commitment to:
-
Whole-person, relationship-centered care
-
Thoughtful clinical reasoning
-
Osteopathic principles and philosophy
-
Professional integrity and high-quality patient care
-
Respect for different areas of expertise
-
Collaboration rather than competition
-
A supportive and collegial practice environment
Rooted in Osteopathy. Open to Collaboration.
Osteopathic medicine is at the heart of Riverside.
The Collective was founded around the osteopathic principles of seeing the patient as a whole person, understanding the relationship between structure and function, and supporting the body's capacity for health.
At the same time, excellent whole-person care is often multidisciplinary.
As Riverside grows, we are open to conversations with clinicians whose training and approach complement this philosophy, including:
-
Osteopathic and Allopathic physicians
-
Naturopathic physicians
-
Nurse practitioners
-
Physician associates/assistants
-
Other clinicians whose work complements a whole-person model of care
Clinicians are represented according to their own professional credentials and scope of practice. The osteopathic identity of Riverside reflects the foundation and philosophy of the Collective rather than requiring every member to be an osteopathic physician.
Flexible clinic sharing models
Flexible by Design
There is no single pathway for joining the Riverside Collective.
Our practice environment is already structured to support a range of clinical models, including:
-
Full-time practice
-
Part-time practice
-
Start with one or two clinic days per week while maintaining another practice location or gradually building your own patient panel.
-
Established practice or build your practice over time rather than making an abrupt transition from employed medicine.
-
Bring an existing patient population into a collaborative clinical environment.
-
Establish Riverside as your primary clinical home without taking on the overhead and infrastructure of an entirely separate office.
-
Hybrid care with existing hybrid capable infrastructure
Combine in-person and virtual visits with systems already designed to support remote patient care, communication, scheduling, and administrative management.
Our goal is to make private practice more affordable, accessible, sustainable, and professionally satisfying.
